MEDICAL WEBSITE FOR VETERANS

The Institute of Medicine has created an Internet website with information about a variety of military-related health issues.

The website - http://veterans.iom.edu - has separate sections for health care issues affecting veterans of World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the Gulf War. Other sections list IOM's completed reports and reports in progress, while another area contains studies about chemical and biological agents supected of causing health problems for service members. Another section contains reports and information about deployment health.
