DEPLOYS HIGH-TECH LEGAL SERVICES DONATION FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – December 13, 2011 WASHINGTON – Corporate law firms routinely use top-notch legal technology to help them more efficiently process cases, mine truckloads of paper for needed information and get faster results. Thanks to the donation of high-tech legal services by Driven, Inc. the National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP) will be able to more efficiently help veterans filing VA claims. It’s a solution that the scrappy 31-year-old nonprofit organization that helps veterans could only dream of, in years past. “The services Driven, Inc. is donating are powerful legal tools that usually only well-resourced private firms can afford,” said Tracy Connor, Pro Bono Coordinator with NVLSP. “This technology is helping our small and over-loaded legal staff to review the records of over one-hundred thousand veterans and identify the ones that need our help,” said Connor. ”Working smarter with Driven technology means we can help veterans now that we may not have known about for years, or maybe ever.” The company’s support for NVLSP came about through the assistance of Matthew Verga, who know firsthand the complicated process many veterans must go through when filing a VA claim for benefits. “Assisting the NVLSP in its efforts to help veterans and their families has been some of the most rewarding work of my legal career,” said Verga. “I was proud to be able to handle an individual veteran’s appeal for them while a law firm associate, and I am proud to be able to assist in this new way now, as Driven’s Director of Consulting, identifying technological solutions to make possible the evaluation and handling of so many additional appeals,” said Verga. The donation to NVLSP is valued at nearly $6,000. Company leaders say they are glad to see their software and services being used by a nonprofit organization that helps so many veterans. “Driven, Inc. is honored to be working with the National Veterans Legal Services Program. Our gesture is small in comparison to everything our veterans have done for us,” said Ozzy Jimenez, chief executive officer of Driven, Inc. About NVLSP About Driven, Inc.
