“I completed the
NVLSP Basic Training Course in 1996. This
superb course prepared me to become an accredited service officer the
following year through The American Legion Department of New York. I
cannot recommend the course enough for both the Post Service Officer to
the professional/accredited Service Officers. It was worth every penny I
paid.”

NVSLP TRAINING CORRESPONDENCE COURSESAnother type of advocacy publication is NVLSP's Basic Training Correspondence Course in veterans’ benefits law. The course, which can be taken at home, includes a 128-page manual, a complete set of intake forms, and a proficiency examination that advocates may take and submit to NVLSP for grading.
