Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program Training
NVLSP is a member organization of the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program. In its role as a member of the Consortium, NVLSP trains lawyers in veterans benefits law free of charge, provided they agree to represent and/or counsel a veteran or family member before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC). The American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, and the Paralyzed Veterans of America are the other member organizations of the Consortium.
The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program holds several training seminars each year and, in addition, provides online training for lawyers who cannot attend a training in person. Each seminar is from 9:00am to 5:00pm and is approved for CLE credit.
If you are a lawyer who would like to volunteer to represent or counsel a veteran or family member before the CAVC, you can find more information about Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program training seminars at: http://www.vetsprobono.org/volunteer-today/.
