The National Veterans Legal Services Program

Message on Coronavirus

March 2020

Dear Friends,

First, thank you for being part of the National Veterans Legal Services Program community. Based on the evolving coronavirus conditions, we would like to inform you about how the National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP) is navigating this developing situation.

Our driving force is the health and safety of our staff, partners and clients. To this end, we have postponed our in-person events in March. We have also offered our employees the option to work remotely. NVLSP remains operational to ensure that our veterans get the disability benefits they are eligible to receive based on injuries incurred as a result of their military service. We will continue to engage through our digital platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.

Additionally, NVLSP offers a robust number of tools online to help attorneys and veterans advocates continue to advance their skills to help champion veterans' rights. Over the years, we have developed our online resources and have a host of recorded webinars as well as our comprehensive Veterans Benefits Manual available on-demand. Currently, our schedule for upcoming webinars remains unchanged, but we will keep you posted if we make any adjustments. You can find more information here.

We wish you and yours the very best during these evolving times. We will continue to fulfill our uniform code: To serve those who have served us. With much appreciation for your support and commitment.

Sincerely,

Barton F. Stichman
Executive Director
